Book I

A Faerytale Summer

Power is a curse. At least, that’s what Ella has always believed.

As one of the few humans at Solaris Academy of the Fae, she is a walking red flag, born with the rare and legendary Mirrormage gift, able to steal and wield the magic of those around her. A power once held by the now-dead Winter Prince. A power that could make her a weapon. Or even more of a target.

But among the fae, being human is a curse in itself. They believe mortals are the reason for their fading immortality, for the slow decay of their once-eternal magic. Ella is tolerated at best, despised at worst.

Keeping her magic in check should be her biggest problem, but dark secrets lurk in every shadow of Solaris. The Summer Prince, Kaelion, wears his golden charm like armor, but there’s something dangerous lurking beneath. Zeph, the Spring Prince, has a smile as sharp as his mind, but she should know better than to trust a trickster. And then there’s Ruffio — a dark, mysterious Aetherbinder with smoldering eyes, the only one who can silence the storm of power inside her. But he’s keeping secrets of his own… and some are more deadly than others.

As tensions rise and alliances in the everlasting civil war shift, Ella must decide who to trust before her power consumes her… or someone takes it for themselves.

Because in a world where magic is everything, being human might be the most dangerous thing of all.

Book II

A Starlit Spring

You were never the curse, Ella. You were the bridge. The storm’s calm. The spring that never ends.

Ella never expected the end of the school year to come with silence, distance, and the crushing weight of everything left unsaid. With bonds forged, trust broken, and truths unraveling, she finds herself pulled into a world far colder than the one she knew — where duty collides with betrayal, and the lines between enemy and ally blur like snow in the dark.

As ancient magic stirs and spring begins to thaw what winter buried, Ella must decide what she's willing to fight for, who she dares to trust, and whether her heart can survive what comes next.

A new season begins.

But not all things bloom in the light.
